Lu Vitti began her artistic career by studying Performing Arts at Barão de Mauá College in Ribeirão Preto in 1999. In São Paulo, she studied for 6 months at the Éwerton de Castro Technical Theater School. She has worked for 20 years in theatrical and musical productions (for adults and children), performing at the SESC circuit in São Paulo (capital and interior), Pedro II Theater (Ribeirão Preto), Theater Oficina in São Paulo, among others. She studied lighting with Ari Nagô, through the Paulista Theater Cooperative. She has worked with renowned Brazilian theater directors such as José Celso Martinez Corrêa, Roberto Vignati, Hélio Cícero, Mário Bortoloto, and Marcos Loureiro. She participated in residencies at the Cultural Workshops of São Paulo: with the ‘Teatro Fábrica São Paulo’ Company in the play ‘Rose Rose’ (with Ana Lúcia Torre), and in the musical research for the play ‘Vaqueiros’ (with Fernando Carvalhaes). She studied singing and interpretation with Ana de Holanda, sister of Chico Buarque.

She directed the theater group at Brasílio Machado State School in the first semester of 2005, and in the second semester, she participated in a workshop on direction and scriptwriting for puppet theater, with Márcia Abujamra. In May 2006, she started a theater workshop with the Pia Fraus Company, which resulted in two performances in July at the Pinacoteca in São Paulo. In October, she took a workshop with the Vertigem Theater, and in December, she performed with the Unhadas de Sussuarana Group in the project ‘Em defesa das águas’ at the Parlapatões venue.

She was featured in the children’s musical ‘Mariazinha Da Câmara Cascudo,’ by folklorist Luís Câmara Cascudo, with the Permanent Research Group: at SESC Pinheiros (April 2008), at Ressurreição Theater (June/July 2008), and at Paulo Eiró Theater (October/November 2008).

She participated prominently in the TV miniseries ‘Vila Saúde,’ produced by the Ministry of Health.

In July 2012, she performed in the play ‘Música para ninar dinossauros,’ by Mário Bortoloto, as part of the funded project: ‘Mostra Cemitério de Automóveis 30 anos – Artes do Subterrâneo.’ The play also had performances in Brasília, at CCBB, and in the interior of São Paulo, at Sesc Rio Preto.

In 2014, she embarked on her first European tour, participating in two festivals: in Vienna and Amsterdam. In 2015, she dedicated herself to recording and releasing her first album, financed through crowdfunding, which was launched at Sesc Pompéia in 2006 as part of the ‘Pratas da Casa’ project, with the participation of Ângela RoRo.

In 2017, she performed at Sesc Belenzinho, CCSP, and various venues in the capital and interior of São Paulo. In the same year, she established her singing class at IC&T, the singing and technology institute of EMT (School of Music and Technology).

In 2018, she was featured in the children’s musical ‘A Cachorrada’ at Cacilda Becker Theater in Lapa, São Paulo.

In 2019, she received an invitation to sing at Brazilian Day in Stockholm, Sweden, performing a special tribute to the Jovem Guarda era.

She collaborated in the creative process and served as the Master of Ceremonies for the year-end closing of Bassano Vaccarini School in Ribeirão Preto, with the Rock and Roll theme.

In 2020, she released her first children’s book, titled ‘Ô, seu Menino,’ published by Miolo Mole Publishing. In 2021, it was selected by the São Paulo City Hall for the ‘Minha Biblioteca’ project, to be included in the collection of reading rooms and spaces in municipal educational units in 2022.
